Winchester is the the home of our Winchester School of Art Campus. It's a small and beatiful city with many historical landmarks and beatiful nature. On our trip we will walk around to see some of the key sites, such as Winchester Cathedral, the statue of King Alfred and Wolvesey Castle. Afterwards we will have some time to have lunch and spend free time.

Attendees are expected to purchase their own train tickets* and there are 2 ways to do so:

- online on the Trainline or South Western Railway website. It is important that you choose an Open Return ticket with outward journey from Southampton Central to Winchester at 10:00.

- At Southampton Central train station before our trip (between 9:45 and 10:00). Our Activities Support Staff can help you buy a ticket at the station. We will be taking the 10:00 train.

*If you plan to travel by train often this year, we recommend that you invest in a 16-25 Railcard. With a Railcard, you can save up to 1/3 on selected fares and it only costs £35 for the whole year.
